How the Reactor Nuclear Works

Since 1950s design and developed of power station is began. Many developed of reactor nuclear as a power station using by this design.Until the older reactors end of their working life, a new designs are being introduced.

There are a two types of nuclear reactors generated for nuclear electricity , imagine that.Splitting the atoms of certain elements and controlling the release of this energy  is the way of a nuclear reactors works.Gas or water heat with high temperature is used to make steam this is produced from that energy.Like a fossil fuel power station the steam is then used to drive turbins.The steam is used to drive a turbin which propels the submarine, these are implemented on a nuclear submarine.The neutrons are used in a research reactor.
All of the reactors operated by different way, such as fast neutron reactor, boiling water reactor, pressurised water reactor, and gas cooled reactor, but there are still a same components could found in all of that reactors such as :

Containment : The containment is usually a meter thick steel structure and concrete. The containment function is to protect from the radiation if there be an accident or incident overcome the radiation effect in the outside world, this is kind of structure design protector for the reactor core.Fuel  : Placed into fuel assemblies in the reactor core arranged from fuel rods which is arranged in tubes, using Uranium Oxide ( U02 ) .

Moderator : Heavy water or even graphite,usually water as a moderator, the function is to make it the neutron become a slow down released from fission, that’s why more fission.

Control Rods :  Used to control the rate at which the reaction occurs, they are inserted or retaken from the core of the reactor. Material such as hafniumor boron and cadmium is a made for neutron absorbing material.

Coolant : To transfer heat away from the core using a gas coolant or a liquid

Pressure Vessels or pressure tubes :This is hold the fuel and transport the coolant through the moderator, the pressure vessels is contains a series of tubes. Reactor core  and moderator and coolant contain usually steel vessels.

Steam Generator : To make steam to drive turbine from the heat of the reactor , some of the part of the cooling system is steam generatos.

Nuclear plants can be decontaminated and decommissioned or can be safety  with processed from treated to the nuclear waste it is also can be recycled.
